Under new ownership, the property was refurbished in 2016 and maintains its iconic architectural bones and artistic soul while bestowing all the comforts and amenities of a modern resort. Located on Highway 1 along the Sonoma Coast, Timber Cove is about fifteen miles north of downtown Jenner. Often photographed by famed photographer Ansel Adams, the setting is considered to be one of California's most beautiful coastlines.

The restaurant's décor builds on the proximity to both sea and forest and incorporates warm woods and earthy elements to complement the themes created in the food.

Coast Kitchen is anchored by the Great Room, a massive stone fireplace, setting the mood with an attractive, lighthearted vibe that invites conversation. It's easier to let the drinks flow when you're comfortable with your surroundings. With 15 local wineries nearby, the libations feature dynamic wines by the glass and expertly featured bottles and reserves.

Coast Kitchen features clean, crisp presentations of dishes designed with local ingredients. The menu pays significant attention to sea food offerings complemented by other locally sourced ingredients from area farmers, cheese mongers, mushroom foragers and other producers. The connection to nature and local ingredients extends the continuity between Coast Kitchen and the rest of Timber Cove.

Timber Cove Resort and Coast Kitchen were designed by celebrated Los Angeles-based firm The Novogratz. The 54-seat restaurant showcases ocean views and the surrounding Sonoma coast.

Delicious fare featuring fruits and vegetables, Sonoma cheeses, farm-raised chicken and grilled creekstone 21-day dry aged rib eye steak, and local seafood including salmon, oysters from Tomales Bay, and Dungeness crab. The wine list emphasizes acclaimed local wines, with additional pairings from throughout the region.
